Project Description

The position
  • The Category Manager optimizes sales value and proves to have ownership of the Product Category.
  • You continuously realize an excellent mixture of products and margin. 
  • You combine an overview on our products, consumables and services with sound business acumen.
  • In this position you are responsible for the efficient execution of the budget & Sales forecast. 
  • You recognize opportunities and translate them into tangible goals.
  • You join the marketing team and directly report to the Manager Marketing EMEA & India.  


You are 
  • at the center of all sales activities and promotions 
  •  sales driven and commercial aware  
  •  accountable for amount, quantity and margin  
  •  used to working in an international environment  
  •  challenged by complex DMU s  
  •  willing and able to travel regularly, approximately 25% of your time  
  •  enjoying giving presentations to clients and distributors    

You have 
  •  business acumen  
  •  commercial ownership by Product Category  
  •  a solid track record in the field of medical (diagnostic) equipment i.e. capital investments  
  •  finished a higher vocational education or university (relevant Bachelor or Master Degree)  
  •  a minimum of 5 years international business experience  
  •  proven management and leadership skills within a matrix organization  
  •  ambition    

  •  feel at home in an international customer focused environment  
  •  know how to communicate at all levels  
  •  connect, communicate and partner naturally with our clients  
  •  can express yourself fluently in English, both verbal and written  
  •  speak the customer
