The ideal candidate is responsible for partnering with the Commercial organization, Information Systems organization and Technology suppliers to integrate and optimize commercial business processes leveraging technology. In doing so, they identify, design and deliver process/technology solutions which enable and integrate commercial business process. This hands-on position also takes on project management leadership on large initiatives and is a key influencer in global solution architecture and design decisions working across business operations in NA, Latin America, EMEA and ASPAC regions
- Collaborate with Commercial business managers and technology to translate business requirements into concrete, specific projects that drive measurable value to the organization and align with our Commercial technology strategy.
- Lead and facilitate solution design workshops and business requirement gathering meetings with multi-function and multi-disciplinary participants.
- Manage project administration tasks and coordinate between departments for activity completion
- Manage and grow a team of technology professionals.
- Manage and enhance relationships with solution providers and other external partners.
- Oversee technical support of e-commerce solutions.
- 7+ years of experience in designing, implementing and supporting applications, APIs and database architectures of various sizes and complexity
- Experience working with full Microsoft stack (.Net, SQL Server, etc.)
- Demonstrated expertise utilizing Object Oriented principals.
- Experience working with Web services, WCF, REST APIs
- Experience working with Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, SSRS)
- Experience leading all tasks in the development cycle, starting from business process definition, to configuration and unit testing, assistance and follow-up with user testing, to co-ordination of transports to Production, to training and post-live support and fixes, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field of study. Master degree a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Must be able to adapt and thrive within a fast-paced and dynamic environment
