Business Intelligence Manager – Retail and Vaccines-MAR006360

The role of Business Intelligence Manager will have responsibility over selected business intelligence activities in the company: from development of market intelligence reports and performance dashboards, to primary market research studies, segmentation/targeting projects and forecasting.

Your main responsibilities over the Retail and Vaccines Markets will be

* Prepare materials / monthly charts of the results for discussions, questioning data from multiple sources and analyze trends along with business areas, crossing qualitative information, new entrants, and significant market movements over the Retail and Vaccines franchise

* Support for marketing and sales teams on the analysis of your products / geographical areas and assessment of Retail and Vaccines market information needs

* Provide information, analysis and input in the development of Retail and Vaccines marketing plans and presentations for Business Review Meetings at local, regional and global level

* Survey and evaluation of competitive intelligence, providing to the Retail and Vaccines business unit relevant information that impacts or may impact the Retail and Vaccines business and to facilitate decisions

* Conduct qualitative and quantitative market research with institutes, mediating with the areas of marketing and purchasing

* Preparation and updating segmentation analysis and targeting of coverage areas, including the concept of accounts for Retail and Vaccines Market

* Support in defining and implementing deployment of Sales force and Customers for the Retail and Vaccines Business Unit

* Develop sales forecast for each specific product indication/form approved and to be approved for the Retail and Vaccines franchise and reach alignment among local, regional and global marketing teams, when needed

* Manage teams and build talent;

* Utilize industry trends and knowledge to determine own function’s strengths and weaknesses

* Provide guidance to others when analyzing/interpreting data and providing insights

The job holder will be expected to

* Set clear performance standards, overcome obstacles, hold accountable for achieving results

* Demonstrate strong project management and rounded analytical and problem solving skills

* Prove his/her ability to identify and integrate patterns, trends and inconsistencies across multiple data sources to determine broader implications

* Act as an individual contributor whilst working closely with the team and other cross-functional groups

* Interact closely with colleagues from other internal areas to provide individual support and anticipate/identify synergies

* Contribute to innovation, process improvement, standardization

The role is highly outward/market focused to monitor trends, analyze competitive landscapes and identify opportunities. The job holder will actively manage a portfolio of projects - local, regional or global - to ensure highest chances of business success.


* Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Pharmacy, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Economics or Healthcare Management. MBA will be a plus.

* Proved professional experience in Business Intelligence or on the management of projects related to the area;

* Fluent English (business-fluent, spoken and written). Additional languages will be an advantage

* Strong in MS Office core suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) required

* Knowledge of market audits (IMS, Prescription, Physicians Profile, IBGE, DATSUS e outros)

* Strong analytical, problem solving, time management and organizational skills. Detail-oriented, ability to prioritize work, work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently.

* A passion for problem-solving, comfort with ambiguity, and creativity in a fast paced environment with competing priorities.

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Prepare and develop reports and presentations for communicating findings to business owners and management. These reports may be in the form of visualizations such as graphs, charts, and dashboards.

* Proven skills in problem solving using business knowledge and knowledge of operations to weigh risks and trade-offs for implementing new processes/ projects

* Utilize industry trends and knowledge to determine own function’s strengths and weaknesses

* Strong in MS Office core suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) required

* Ability to coach others in the use of problem-solving tools and techniques encouraging others to think/achieve new solutions

* Ability to quickly identify potential sources of problems and develop and implement solutions

* Proven experience in assessment and development of strengths and weaknesses of others through individualized development plans

* Proactive approach to seek ways to improve team functioning, cohesiveness and effectiveness

* Knowledge in Retail and Vaccines will be considered a plus.
