LEO Pharma is set to become the world dermatology leader offering the most diverse range of treatment solutions to meet the individual needs of people with skin diseases.Biostatistics Department at LEO Pharma in Ballerup is looking for statisticians able to develop, strengthen and secure high quality and participate in planning, analysing and reporting clinical trials from our wide range of exciting development projects.Your primary assignmentsParticipate in LEO Pharma s development projects giving the statistical input to clinical development plans and individual clinical studies using your experience and expertiseAnalyse clinical trial data and give input to clinical study reports related to the development of new medicinesGive statistical input to clinical study protocols including for instance design, sample size, power calculations and statistical methodologyGive statistical input to publications of clinical study dataCollaborate with other statisticians and programmers within Biostatistics as well as with CROs and other experts within clinical developmentUse your skills to participate in the improvement of the department s procedures and secure best practicesBe involved in creating data summaries for the FDA and EMA where you will work closely together with regulatory professionals and medical expertsProvide statistical advice to other scientists within R&D and perform analyses of experimental non-clinical dataYour competency profileOur new colleague/the right candidate must possess the following qualifications:appropriate theoretical statistical background as e.g. MSc or PhD in statisticsinterest in applied statisticsexperience with medical research is certainly an advantage, however, not a musta team player who is able to work with other scientists from different functional areas and simultaneously has the ability to work and think independentlyyou take responsibility, you are structured, committed and flexible and have a positive attitudeyou possess good communication skills in English, verbally as well as in writingAre you ready to join us?We offer a challenging job as Biostatistician where you will get the opportunity to apply statistical methods to medical and other experimental data. You will be working together with competent and qualified statistical programmers and colleagues within Biometrics as well as with other scientists from LEO R&D.You will be part of a dedicated team of about 20 employees, of whom 14 are statisticians.
