Project Description

The Business Research Manager plays a key partner role in providing marketing research & analytics capabilities for:
  • understanding of market & customer understanding
  •  developing brand strategies
  •  tracking performance & implementation
  •  long-range / short-range brand planning

Functional Requirements:
  • Extensive experiences (8+ years) in pharmaceutical marketing research, especially in:
    •  new product planning
    •  pricing & access
    •  tracking
  • Strong analytical skills: good mastery in basic statistics / efficient with spreadsheet & presentation software

Operational Requirements:
  • Strong leadership & interpersonal skill: being able to work with other people to move things towards the right direction
  • Highly disciplined & motivated: able to work with stretch goals & deadline, prioritize business impact & outcome
  • Team-player: open to different ideas, strong willingness to share Innovation oriented: able to detect low efficiencies or wastes in daily worksand take responsibilities to optimize
  • Some of the detailed (but not exhaustive) responsibilities including:work with marketing team to suggest & collect annual research plans  translates key business questions & objectives into research objectives, work with agencies & internal stakeholders (marketing) to formulate most appropriate research design
  • Facilitate understanding of the out-come to maximize impact & value documentation of historical research studies under the framework of company Marketing’ to allow future references & knowledge sharing across teams & subsidiaries
  • Leverage primary & secondary data / information to provide insights to stakeholders, to address questions or challenges they’re facing or support regular business reviews / strategic planning  learning & sharing within the team & across function

The ideal candidate should be able to quickly adapt to the shift of strategic focus of the company, remain flexible & motivated in supporting different groups of internal customers (marketing / NPP / BD / etc.) according to the actual needs.
