In the context of our development, we are looking for an: Associate Director, NAMR Human Resources


Part of the Human Resources Department, under the supervision of the Head of Human Resources, Administration and Procurement, you will lead and coordinate the North American HR policies and programs (including benefits management), provide support to the teams based in North America, and handle NAMR recruitments activities closely with the Recruitment Manager based in France.


Presentation of activities and main tasks linked to the job

  • Position attached to HR team, under the supervision of the Head of Human Resources, Administration and Procurement based in France.
  • General Human Resources responsibilities:
    1. Conducts orientation and onboarding of all new NAMR employees
    2. Ensures proper follow-up of all required declarations upon hiring
    3.  Leads NAMR monthly payroll preparation with vacation tracking and follow up of variable data
    4. Assists with benefits administration as well as fielding questions of the local team
    5. Maintains personnel files in compliance with company’s processes and applicable legal requirements
    6. Develops and administers benefits programs
    7. Maintains and expands knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations affecting human resource management
  • Recruitment responsibilities:
    1. Prepare job ads
    2. Advertises job openings externally, in keeping with company recruitment policies and recruitment processes
    3. Identifies candidates when needed
    4. Sorts and reviews resumes as they arrive on a daily basis
    5. Performs reviews and interviews when required
    6. Recruitment platform follow-up
    7. Schedules interviews as needed
    8. Collects feedback and leads the candidate selection process
  • Additional duties to support the roll out of corporate programs (e.g. team building, charity day) and to ensure the embodiment of the culture and core values of Median.

  • Education: Human Resources bachelor degree preferred
  • Experience: 5 years ‘experience minimum in a similar position
  • Skills:
    1. Excellent time and management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
    2. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
    3. Strong organizational and planning skills
    4. Thrives in a proactive and autonomous work environment
    5. Used to work in an international, multicultural environment
    6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the French language would be a plus
    7. Proficiency in MS Office
  • Qualities: Organization, autonomy, team spirit, reactivity, attention to detail, respect of timelines and confidentiality of data.
