1. Organizational Capabilities gaps Identification and Capablities Improvement (50%)
  • Partnering with the LCDDMAC leadership team to prioritize capability areas of focus for achieving our objectives, building and executing corresponding training plan. This will also include identifying facilitators for the training and partnering with them to train the trainer, as well as also leading some of the required core medical training.
  • Develop and facilitate an onboarding curriculum for LCDDMAC members. This will include leveraging the global resources, understanding business need to tailor a program for LCDDMAC.
  • Partner with LCDDMAC leadership, Global MDU and China Leadership and Development to prioritize and build leadership development training plan for the LCDDMAC organization to improve skills and employee engagement.
  • Create strong Lilly networks to leverage/synergy the resouces for capabilities enhancement solutions , including and not limited to Therpeutic Area Medical Affairs team, Chinical Development team, Medical Sci team, Ethical & Compliance, Legal, Marketing at affiliate and Corporate.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal/external business partners and cross-functional management to leverage the team’s expertise to support organization objectives/initiatives, as well as to develop and maintain the platform for effective communication of the team’s objectives/deliverables, ensure productive and efficient team interaction, share best practices, discuss therapeutic area strategy, and discuss opportunities for strengthening key relationships.
  • Network externally to acquire and share knowledge and to strengthen relationships/partnerships to identify the organization capabilities status in market and enhancement opportunities.
2. Develop and implement organization Launch Readiness Capabilities Enhancement solutions; and Establish/implement Launch Excellence Network for LCDDMAC (30%)
  • Facilitate and support LCDDMAC launch readiness capabilities development strategy and projects. Lead the implementation, application, and integration of all the existed/new initiate LCDDMAC launch readiness projects.
  • Plan, develop and implement a cross functional communication plan to ensure alignment with the launch readiness capabilities needs/solutions and implementation plans. Influences and works with quality mindset across the internal and external teams. Effectively manage cross-functional communications, anticipate, identify and resolve issues.
  • Well integrate and manage the resoures for launch readiness capabilities with affiliate & global. Ensure all activities are performed according to established SOP and in compliance with all appropriate standards.
  • Key person accountable for establish/implement Launch Excellence Network for organization to sharing learning, process improvement, and identification and incorporation of best pratices for launch readiness.
  • Owner of LCDDMAC cross-functional launch readiness capablitities solutions/platforms (eg. LCDDMAC Launch Excellence Network ).
3. Develop LCDDMAC Innovation Strategies and key Solutions (20%)
  • Facilitate and support LCDDMAC innovation strategy and new initiative projects development. Lead the governance of all the existed/new initiate LCDDMAC innovative projects.
  • Plan, develop and lead a cross functional communication platform to ensure alignment with the innovation projects/solutions and implementation plans.
  • Well integrate and manage the resoures for innovation projects with affiliate & global. Ensure all activities are performed according to established SOP and in compliance with all appropriate standards.
  • Lead a project review process that evaluates feasibility of plans and ensures reliable delivery by all relevant functions. Key person accountable for sharing learning, process improvement, and identification and incorporation of best pratices into innovation projects.

  • Medical training background. Must be board eligible or certified in appropriate specialty/subspecialty or the comparable level of clinical training.
  • At least 5 years of experience in clinical practice, clinical research, pharmaceutical medicine, and the drug development process.
  • Broad functional expertise in pharmaceutical company in both medical and business perspectives.
  • Ability of driving decision marking process, build relationship, engage and influence key stakeholders, including external and internal ones.
  • Ability of identifying solving complex business/operational problems and technical challenges.
  • Strong customer focus and understanding of commercial environment
  • Strong compliance sense, diligent adherence to business integrity principles
  • Excellent communication , interpersonal, organizational and negotiation skills
  • Cross-functional experience in operational or project management roles within the medical organization at Lilly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills; able to anticipate and recognize systemic problems, diagnose root causes and work with functional leadership to influence corrective actions that will prevent recurrence across multiple teams or functions.
  • Excellent self-management and organizational skills; able to independently manage workload, set personal and team priorities and adjust as needed
