Business Unit Overview:
Elanco is establishing a new Business Unit to expand the access to and availability of Elanco's innovative Animal medicine and wellness products worldwide. Our products are, and will be, distributed in multiple channels.
*Role overview: The business analyst is responsible for providing business and analytical support to the support for the Animal Care Expansion (ACE) business and retail partners. Working with the commercial team this individual will independently analyze data from various sources to discover opportunities, develop strategic insights and create recommendations for our Elanco and our retail partners.
Provide analytics support to the Animal Care Expansion (ACE) business
Analyze data from multiple internal and external sources to discover opportunities and develop strategic insights
Create analytics tracking requirements and supporting documentation
Measure ROI of promotions and trade funds
Consolidate data and insights across multiple data sources and analytical platforms
Deliver accurate and effective presentations to project teams and business leaders
Assist with the development of reports and dashboards for monthly forecasting processes at a customer and business unit level
Assist with the development of presentations for retail partners on market trends and Elanco brand performance
2 years experience in business analytics or equivalent experience
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Elanco does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position
Previous experience working with syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, etc.) preferred
Strong analytical capabilities and problem solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to lead and influence others, especially under pressure and despite opposition
Solid understanding of accounting and proficiency with SAP
Strong computer skills, Excel, PowerPoint
