The GM Advanced Analytics Associate is responsible for implementing the effective and efficient deployment of information and resources in support of Brands/Function and the Food Animal Global Marketing team. The Analyst, Advanced Analytics will develop a deep understanding of various global marketing insights and data sources, build an understanding of marketing tactics and strategies, and use/build processes to analyze and communicate key outputs to decision makers.

The GM Advanced Analytics Associate reports to Senior Director, Food Animal Global Marketing lead.

Key Objectives:
  • Develop understanding of Brand/Specie strategies, key decision points, and specific analytic needs
  • Integrate requisite data to create analyses to answer business questions
  • Ensure analytic outputs are translated into actionable business insights
  • Develop ROI analyses for brand questions as needed
  • Implement data strategy and integration as necessary
  • Other Key Initiatives / Special Projects as needed

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or Mathematics.
  • 1 year experience in animal health industry
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position
  • MBA in Marketing
  • Experience with 3rd party data and database management (eg Rx/Volume Data) SAS, R, Sequel knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with business acumen, and an ability to think strategically in an ambiguous environment
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal), interpersonal influencing skills and prioritization skills with attention to detail
  • High level of motivation and a strong desire to find creative solutions to challenging situations
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Competence in valuation model building and robust excel modeling skills
  • 0-10% travel depending on business need
  • This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of two years with potential to extend annually for up to 4 years.
