Assistant - Laboratory Site Purchasing Procurment-FDE

Provide procurement - purchasing laboratory support to Lilly Biotech Center (LBC) in San Diego and BioTDR/Immunology (Indy based) management, scientific teams, and operational support teams
Duties include assisting business partners and scientists with their supply, equipment and service procurement purchasing needs through various procurement systems including but not limited to eCat, ERM, EBP shopping cart and P-Card.
Communicate with management, colleagues, and outside vendors on a regular basis to keep up to date on any open purchasing issues and discuss ideas and resolutions.
Active member of LBC Operations team. Responsibilities include participation with operations team assignments and duties.
Act as backup for current procurement assistant.
Other assignments as required
Minimum of 2 years of purchasing and/or procurement experience
High school diploma/GED
Completion of Post Offer Exam, Completion of Work Simulation or Completion of Administrative Skills Testing if applicable.
