Lilly USA IT Solution Services is responsible for driving technology innovation for the US Affiliate. This role will be responsible for leading solution delivery projects, and for implementing service management for those solutions. This position will report to the IT manager primarily responsible for solutions and insights. The person in this role will:
  • Develop customer-centric solutions to be used by business teams within the US Sales and Marketing Affiliate
  • Consult with internal customers (e.g. MHS teams) to develop analyses that lead to actionable insights
  • Work with data from multiple internal and external data sources to create integrated views to be used in driving decisions
  • Develop expertise of processes and data used by business functions within the US Affiliate
  • Ensure ongoing solution stability for the business
Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with and influence IT and business team members to drive solution delivery
  • Partner with internal and external technical teams to build solutions
  • Understand the key elements of the project related data and business usage
  • Ensure solutions adhere to quality and compliance requirements
  • Influence and provide input to user experience (UX/UI)
  • Develop business requirements and solution designs
  • Partner with vendor resources on solution development to ensure understanding of solution requirements
  • Responsible for customer acceptance, defect resolution, business issue resolution
  • Build familiarity with data visualization tools to provide best solutions to business
  • Ensure adherence to appropriate quality standards and risk-based decision making for all delivery efforts
  • Manage support of solutions, and execute service management process
  • Ensure knowledge transfer to appropriate personnel
  • Manage projects and ensure alignment with overall roadmap and strategy

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years IT experience
  • Experience with analytics and business intelligence solutions
  • Experience in applying quality and compliance requirements

  • Familiar with the technical architecture associated with databases and analytics environments
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools
  • A high level of intellectual curiosity, external perspective, and innovation interest

  • Solid background in Information Technology with demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technology and business process
