This FDE position is within Lilly Research organization (BioTDR) providing administrative support to members of the leadership group as well as the scientific staff. Additionally, this individual will partner with other AAs in the BioTDR/AME group to provide necessary backup administrative support.
Recruiting & Staffing including scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates and on-boarding.
Travel arrangements for Leadership.
Event management, including scheduling and setup of recurring/ad hoc meetings including technical team meetings and departmental seminars, and backup coordination for internal and external speakers.
Office Management including supplies, equipment, space management, mail sorting, and staff support.
Backup calendaring support for business partners (CSOs and Research Fellows) and ad hoc support to the scientific staff.
Backup Sharepoint Site management to facilitate storing and sharing of information.
Provide other backup support as needed to BioTDR/AME Administrative Assistant

Excellence in Microsoft Office programs and other standard Lilly-supported software as well as Audiovisual set-up for meetings.
Excellent organizational skills, professionalism, and attention to detail and accuracy, as demonstrated by abilities to prioritize, problem-solve and multi-task, with strong focus on helping partners and customers.
Ability to handle and protect confidential information.
Strong teamwork/interpersonal skills, acknowledged team player with excellent interaction and communication skills, and a proactive, can-do attitude.
1-3 years of prior experience supporting scientific staff as an administrative assistant with a strong performance track record. Strong internal network to identify solutions for various business partner needs/requests.
This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of two years with potential to extend annually for up to 4 years.
