We employ cutting edge technology to provide our customers with industry leading solutions and are currently seeking to fill the position of Accounting Associate to work out of our Doylestown, PA office. Primary Responsibilities Ensures the accurate and timely completion of the monthly close process by: Booking general ledger monthly close entries Assisting in department re-allocations and analysis Foreign currency conversion Assisting in monthly consolidation and related consolidating entries Performs quality control procedures by: Preparing monthly account reconciliations Investigating and resolving discrepancies Reviewing and assessing account fluctuations Assisting in Budget vs. Actual analysis Execution of the monthly close checklist Assists in the completion of other finance-related tasks by: Assisting in special projects Assisting in the completion of the year-end audit Assisting in tax and compliance related issues Assisting in the coordination across departments and business segments Assistance with the yearly budget process Contributes to efficiency and productivity of department by: Researching related accounting guidance Performing monthly administrative tasks Following departmental policies and procedures when completing the above Maintains Quality Service and Departmental Standards by: Reading, understanding and adhering to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP”) Participating in establishing and enforcing departmental standards Participating in the modification of company SOPs related to the Finance Department Working conditions: Travel: 0-5% Lifting: 0-15lbs Other: Computer work for long periods of time This position description should not be deemed all inclusive.
