Project Description

For the earliest possible start date we are searching for a highly qualified Account Manager Academia Europe (m/f) to join our expanding Global Sales and Business 

  • Focus on a defined territory specializing in academic medical centers 
  • Responsibility for overall sales strategy within that territory and the accounts 
  • Planning and budgeting for all activities including marketing programs and promotional events directed at the target market 
  • Full accountability to reach the agreed individual and team sales targets 

Qualifications & Skills      
  • 2 years experience with a proven track record in the Biopharma/CRO/Healthcare /Life Science market 
  • Experience in software sales into at least one of pathology, biomarker discovery, image analysis or a closely related market is highly desirable 
  • Proven track record in International Business Management 
  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets 
  • Understanding of IT technology 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German (further languages are beneficial) 
  • Strong sales and presentation skills and ability to ask excellent questions 
  • Ability of multi-tasking and decision making 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team 
  • High self-motivation and flexibility 
  • Very high sense of responsibility and engagement 
  • Willingness to travel
