Job Description 
Primary Responsibilities 
Provide support to the sales staff by  
  • Conducting lead qualification activities including cold calling, prospecting, internet data mining, and follow up on booth visits and marketing campaigns 
  • Lead tracking and execution of sales process 
  • Assisting in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) 
  • Scheduling client capabilities presentations, workshops and visits by other BD Staff 
  • Representing the company or assisting sales managers at regional or national tradeshows, technology seminars or local account calls 
  • Entry and maintenance of opportunities into Salesforce.com  

Coordinates the feasibility, proposals and contracts process by  
  • Working with sales, feasibility and contracts and proposals team to facilitate feasibility responses, proposals for customers 
  • Client follow up on assigned opportunities to drive these to award  


Secondary Responsibilities 
Maintains Quality Service and Departmental Standards by 
  • Reading, understanding and adhering to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) 
  • Assisting in establishing and enforcing departmental standards 
  • Utilising Salesforce.com to make sure all assigned tasks are updated for reporting purposes 
  • Participating in the modification of company SOPs related to Sales and Marketing  
Contributes to team effort by: 
  • Helping others to accomplish results 
  • Performing other duties as assigned 
  • Attending and participating in applicable company sponsored training  


Required Skills   
  • Must have excellent telephone, oral, written and organizational skills 
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment 
  • Must be capable of communicating complex concepts and information over the telephone   

Required Experience 
  • Knowledge of the Life Science industry 
  • 1-3 years of professional sales, clinical research operations, product marketing, or customer related experience within a clinical services company 
  • Experience with Clinical Research Patient Recruitment desired 
  • Experience with Clinical Investigator Sites desired 
  • Experience with the clinical research organization (CRO) industry desired
