2018 Research Student Assistant (Colorado, Kansas & Nebraska) - United States
DuPont is currently seeking a Research Summer Student Assistant to participate in a 3-month experience designed to give a broad based exposure to the day-to-day activities of a breeding program. The assistants in the program will be expected to participate in all aspects of the research center's activities including planting, plot maintenance, pollination, data collection, and possibly harvesting. Travel may be expected to other locations. Position duration is May-August 2018.
- Sophomore or Junior standing in Agronomy, Plant Physiology, Plant Pathology, Genetics, or a related field
- Must display a high degree of self-motivation, self-initiative, and ability to work well with others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must
- Strong computer aptitude is essential
