i had no intention of being a web builder. i had no intention of living abroad for 12 years either. i was "the american guy" helping with the Marketing and Business Development for non-us startups and corporate companies. i loved my job - cool products, fun colleagues! and i was seen as the "young gun" bringing valuable web business techniques to companies. then everything changed. in 2011 while jogging, i listened to the audio book, "the 4 hour work week." by tim ferris. the read was empowering, and for me, it opened my eyes to creating a business, systematizing jobs and striving to do more than what you think is possible. soon after, i started applying systematizing techniques to my job. i reduced my full-day work into a couple of hours. and while doing so, i used the extra time to deep dive into the web programming and learn how web business functions. my job started to lose the appeal as i wondered if i could do more. then an opportunity struck. in a switzerland expat forum, someone requested a website build. i contacted her. i told her i could do it even though i didn't have a website myself at the time. she was skeptical, but eventually she became my first client. from that point on, i decided to focus on learning more about the web and help people build web products and services that extend their business. the web became my sport. the goal? to win on web! today, i head a closely-knit web team, webodew. we are a collective of designers and developers throughout europe and north america. we develop websites, mobile apps, and online Marketing for our clients. if you had to box me into something, people call me a marketer that can design, but more importantly, understands the technical aspects of the web game and how to manage it. but being known as "the fun dude that builds fun stuff for the web" is where i'm aiming. webodew: we "do" web. more: specialties: web design, Web Development, video marketer, digital Consulting

    i pitched and demonstrated mobile and online tracking technology of a startup to Market research directors. my best committed deal resulted in the largest single deal of the company while i was employed. added to the Sales pipeline in north america, south america, europe and asia.
