Summary

i have previously worked 7 years at a Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory and for the past 3 years been a Technical Support specialist for Flow Cytometry with becton dickinson.

i have worked with a wide range of siemens Biochemistry equipment and with all of bd Biosciences instruments.

i am currently based in belgium but relocating is not an issue.

    Technical Support on most of bd Biosciences flow cytometers. main duties are phone and remote support for customers in denmark, norway, sweden, finland, uk and ireland but also backup for belgium, netherlands and luxemburg.

    job consist of Troubleshooting technical issues with instruments with the users. if not possible to immediately resolve the issue it is passed on to local Engineer. also answer questions application related. i get the same technical trainig as field service engineers but also additional application Training in all Software used on instruments.

    i also give technical trainings to application specialist and new members of the team as well as application trainign to field service engineers.

    maintenance and Troubleshooting of our instruments in our Training centre is also one of my duties. additionally also get to join service engineers on customer sites a couple of times a year.

    personal project is a Troubleshooting guide for all our instruments, including all kinds issues, how to troubleshoot the specific issue and the cause of the issue.

    continued working as Biomedical Scientist but with additional functions. was responsible for Training of personel, maintenance, Troubleshooting, reagent stock and various projects on a group of instruments including siemens centaur, siemens twin, tosoh g4, star coagulation system and roche cobas 6000 system. Analysis on these instruments included drug-screening, coagulation tests, hba1c Analysis and various biochemical and immunological test on the cobas 6000. i was also backup for our allergy-screening instruments.
