I am a researcher at the department of Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy, Ghent University. My research focuses on brain structure and function in patients with chronic neck pain. I am also involved in practical courses that prepare our students for their future professional careers. Besides my academic career, I am also active as physiotherapist and manual therapist in a private clinic at, where I mainly treat patients suffering from neck pain. My work at Ghent University has upgraded my skills in statistics and data-analysis, which I have developed even further by following courses from the Master in Statistical Data-analysis. My work in the clinic has however kept my interest in ensuring a clinical application of my research.
