From 2017 on I am looking for new opportunities as project manager/developer in biotechnology/life sciences & genomics ! I aim at a permanent research/project manager or academic position in a dynamic and internationally recognized Company/Institution/University ! Contact me if my profile is of interest ! As a senior academic scientist, I have conducted research in various fields, ranging from Evolutionary Biology (population/conservation genomics, Environmental DNA), Breeding Genomics (Aquaculture and Crop genomics), Fisheries genomics (stock traceability, Fisheries Induced Evolution, Forensics) to Medical Genomics (Ecotoxicogenomics, Metagenomics, Infectious diseases and human parasite genomics). At JCU (March 2013 – January 2016), my research focused on Health Science Genomics (Tuberculosis, Gut Microbiome analysis), Aquaculture Genomics, Fisheries Genomics, eDNA and Metagenomics.     Adjunct Senior Lecturer in Evolutionary and Applied Genomics at the Centre for Sustainable Tropical Fisheries and Aquaculture / Comparative Genomics Centre / College of Marine and Environmental Sciences. As Adjunct of JCU, I will continue to be involved in projects related to: Applied Genomic tool development, Aquaculture and Breeding Genomics (Black tiger prawn genomics), SeaScape & Fisheries Genomics, Environmental Genomics, eDNA, Metagenomics and Medical Genomics (Tuberculosis resistome analysis, Gut Microbiome analysis and human health, Human pathogens).

    I am the co-founder and operational coordinator of BioGenomics (www.biogenomics.eu), a young consultancy specialized in product development and services for animal and plant genomics. Current activities focus on genetic marker development, molecular tracing of food products and the execution of genomic projects using high-end sequencing and genotyping technology. I aim at the development of novel genomics/bioinformatic tools for improved breeding genomics and traceability purposes.
