Graciela is a PhD in Eletrical Engineer specialty on Automatic Control at Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados del IPN, (Jal, Mex) and PhD in Ingegneria Elettrica e dell’Informazione at Dipartimento di Ingegneria Elettrica e dell'Informazione dell’Università degli Studi di L’Aquila, (L’Aquila, IT), supported by the Direct Scientific Collaboration Agreement signed by both institutions. She received her M. Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering specialty in Automatic Control from Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados del IPN (Jal, Mex). She received her B. Sc in Electronic Engineering specialty in Communications from Instituto Tecnológico de Sonora, Sonora (Son, Mex). Her research interests include the analysis stability and control design of continuous/ sampled linear/ nonlinear systems with time- delay using techniques such as: Sliding Modes Control, Predictors, Fuzzy Control Design, LMIs technique.
Currently Graciela is working at Mexico Technical Center (Chih, Mex) in Delphi Automotive Systems as Control Researcher (Senior Engineer) in Powertrain division (Smart Remote Actuators), performing the following main roles: Motor design development, analysis and validation test (brushed and brushless DC motor) for heavy duty actuator purpose (Motor curves analysis/ simulation (stack- up, FEA), Motor curves test and correlation analysis- test/ simu (motor test in open- loop), Additional motor tests, Current thermal analysis in stator windings, Back EMF test and correlation; SRA Product Engineer (Material release for prototypes building, Matching- out components, Material procurement for prototype building, Cost savings analysis/ proposals, Design change proposals, Timings, Validation test impact; Activities on following topics, Design/ Validation test, Prototype material incoming process, Prototype building process, DFMEA, FEAs, Stack- up studies, Test stands set- up, Interference and press- fit, Mechanical process and components, Teardown analysis.
