    January 2012 --- April 2016
-responsible of launching a GMP-compliant facility for the production of cellular medicaments -responsible of the Sequencing service -responsible of the forensics and human Genotyping services (ancient DNA) -co-manager of r+d+i projects in consortium with top Research institutions. scientific and economic management and coordination -responsible person for the area of avian Diagnostics during 1.5 years -supervision and optimization of Laboratory work (5-8 people Laboratory)

  • Postdoctoral Researcher

    September 2011 --- December 2011
postdoc in ralf e. wellinger's Laboratory.

  • Associated Manager of Life Science Facilities

    October 2010 --- January 2011
during the start-up phase of the wet laboratories at the institute of science and techonology austria, i was in charge of launching the media kitchen and the cleaning kitchen which served ca. 6 laboratories and 30 scientists. my duties included the purchase of material for both kitchens, the design of material cleaning and media preparation plans, the optimization of media protocols and the Teaching of two staff members withouth previous Laboratory experience. http://ist.ac.at/Research/scientific-services/life-Sciences/

  • PhD Student at the Laboratory of Prof. Dr. Carl Philipp Heisenberg

    October 2006 --- January 2011
during my phd in the Laboratory of pof. dr. heisenberg, i studied the role of Cell division orientation during zebrafish early development. making use of advanced microscopy techniques such as multi-photon Confocal Microscopy, i was able to image developing zebrafish embryos and track Cell division orientation in 3d and over time. in collaboration with the Laboratory of prof. dr. scott e. fraser at caltech, we developed a powerful semi-automated method to measure division angles and statistically analyze them in respect to the different body axes. we were able to show that stereotypical Cell division orientation (sdo) depends upon frizzled7 (fz7) activity during both gastrulation and neurulation stages. contrary to what was previously hypothesized, sdo during gastrulation has no effect on body axis elongation. on the other hand, sdo has an important role in midline formation during neurulation stages.

  • Scientific Trainee at Dr. Matthias Wilmanns Laboratory

    January 2005 --- July 2005
expression, Purification and crystallization of Proteins involved in the molybdenum cofactor biosynthesis pathway of mycobacterium tuberculosis. http://www.embl-hamburg.de/Research/unit/wilmanns/index.HTML
