Started in June 2009 with introducing the first terminal complement inhibitor (Eculizumab) to the hematologists for a rare disease: Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH).
Since 2013 the same drug is also introduced to nephrologists to treat another orphan disease: atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS).
My high interest in scientific knowledge and my excellent interpersonal skills and ability to network helped me in a successful launch of this orphan drug into the market. I organised a lot of meetings in and outside hospitals, conducted screening projects, participated in national and international congresses. I educate physicians on those rare diseases and help them to create access to the drug for patients who are suffering from those ultra-rare diseases.
