Hi there,

As a Public Health Scientist with a clinical background in ER & prehospital care, I have build up experience in project management and clinical research in Equatorial and West-Afrika. On the lookout for the next challenge and looking foreward discussing new opportunities with you!

Past Experience

  • Research Assistant Conakry, Guinea
    December 2014 --- June 2015

An utterly interesting and challenging project where implementation of the clinical intervention, outcome measurement, training, coaching and supervision filled the bigger part of my days. With problem solving, medical logistics and cold chain managment filling the gaps inbetween!

With teaching comes learning again: clinical research, GCP, protocols, but also... endurance and diplomacy to the expert level!

  • Project Medical Referrent, Nursing Team Supvisor, Terrain Intervention Lead DRCongo, CARepublic, Guinea
    June 2014 --- November 2014

Taking a head-first deep-dive into the Afrikan hinterland... Discovering the overwhelming beauty of the Afrikan continent while contributing to solving some of its many defiances. As a 'responsable intervention' fighting Cholera, a 'nursing director' improving quality of care or as a project medical lead fighting the Ebola epidemic devastating effect to Guinean society.

Projects from 2006 to 20014.. All very different, but all equally captivating!

  • EMS ALS Ambulance Nurse/Paramedic Tilburg, Breda, Netherlands
    April 2009 --- June 2014

Building further on my clinical experience in a well organized, structured and thought-trough variant on the Anglo-American Emergency Medical Services approach.

EMS in a rational, effective style - in short: the Dutch treat!

  • Emergency Room & Ambulance Nurse Antwerp, Belgium
    September 2004 --- March 2009

Starting off my carreer! Clinical experience in acute care. Getting to know the Belgian health care system and its Franco German EMS system inside out.

From novice to routinee. Ready for whatever challenge comes next!
