--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- after five years dedicated to the Teaching and Research collaboration at the University of insubria and of milan into the field of bioethics, biolaw and philosophy of law, i have worked at the Biological resource center of the polyclinic University Hospital ca granda of milan as Policy Advisor and Researcher. my studies covered ethical, legal and social issues of biobanks ranging from blood and cord blood banks to disease oriented Research biobanks. i have acquired skills on GMP with regard to Stem cell based products developed by cell factories. i have also acquired a deep knowledge of ipcs. then i moved to a national pediatric Research center where i have focused my Research on pediatric biobanks mostly oriented to neuro-genetic Research. i have worked as Project Manager of a pediatric biobank for rare diseases. i am presently working at a private company as Policy Advisor and business strategic support into the field of biobanks. my activities focus on disaster recovery, Risk Management, business plan. i am open to collaboration into the field of biobanks and Biotechnologies as a regulatory Advisor and Business Consultant. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- new journal pubs-2014 salvaterra e. et al "pediatric biobanks: opinions, feelings and attitudes of parents towards the specimen donation of their sick children to a hypothetical biobank", pathobiology-2015 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    i have worked several years at the Biological resource center of the public University polyclinic Hospital of milano as a Researcher in biolaw and bioethics. i have co-founded and directed the "biolaw Laboratory", a "Cell" of the Biological resource center in collaboration with dr. paolo rebulla, hematologist. the biolaw Laboratory was dedicated to theoretical and empirical Research on ethical, legal and social issues related to collection, storage, distribution and use of human Biological materials for Clinical and Research purposes. main perofrmed activities concerned the development of tools for managing Biomaterials within a human biobank, as Informed Consent models, material transfer agreements, biobanking regulations as well as qualitative analyses of knowledge, attitudes, opinions of people towards Clinical and Research biobanking. during the experience at the brc i have had the chance to deal with elsi of cord blood banks as well as elsi of Research biobanks. a number of Publications i have worked on relate to cord blood banks Ethics.
