Working in a research center or industrial sector in which involve with: Pre clinical studies for drug development, screening bio molecules and disease diagnostics. Being as histopathology scientist participate in design, conduct and supervised projects that include cancer stem cell and regenerative medicine, Pulmonary diseases, inflammation and wound healing. Multidisciplinary transnational research and tissue engineering are another field of my interest. Designing bio material and artificial tissues, medical devices for purpose of regenerative and transplant applications in heart, lung and skin and kidney. As a Stem cell and histopathology scientific collaborate to design and conduct clinical trials of drugs specially related with lung interstitial disease, cancers and skin disease and anti aging products.

Current Experience

  • PhD student
    Since January 2013
Lung cells differentiation and lung development

Past Experience

  • PHD Candidate/ research assistant
    January 2013 --- December 2015
As a PhD student and research assistant participate in a large scale ENU forward genetic screen in mouse model at Max Planck institute for heart and lung research, department of developmental genetics. This project focus is on lung progenitor cells differentiation during development and pathological conditions. I am very interested in new advances in artificial tissue, tissue engineering research and 3D printing of tissues. The organ/ lab on chip and bio-material engineering are very interesting for me. Also, stem cell and regenerative medicine, rejuvenation organs, wound healing, Respiratory and Cardiovascular disease and regeneration, autoimmune diseases are another my interests.

  • Research Assistant
    July 2012 --- December 2012
As a research assistant participate in research on Muscle stem cells differentiation and VEGF impacts.

  • Master's student
    September 2010 --- May 2012
As a Master's student in Angela Mortari lab Working on decellularizing lung project, isolation of lung stem/progenitor cells through magnetic beads, multicolor FACS and sort to purify adult lung stem cells( EpCAM+ cells). Reseeding a decellularized lung with purified cells to recellularize a lung organ. Preparing a bio-reactor, troubleshoot a protocol and refining the protocol. Investigation of cultured cells differentiation and engraftment in acellular lung with RT-PCR, PCR, confocal microscopy, histological assessments.

  • Intern
    January 2006 --- May 2008
As a morphologist in Hematology lab: analyzed anemic and leukemic patients samples. Also, draw blood from patients and preparing samples for cell counter and whole blood slides and staining. In the blood bank, transfusion, serology lab: exposed to blood typing and cross match tests to provide proper whole blood and serum packs for transfusion. Microbiology lab: culturing bacteria in various media, preparing media, culturing blood for analyzing blood-borne bacteria. Also, experience of culturing viruses in the chickens egg technique. Parasitology and entomology labs: studying samples for parasites in various human samples. Biochemistry lab, Immunology lab assisting preparing, analyzing, and recording results.
