my work focus is basic science Translation with the goal of understanding and communicating about Clinical disease states. i studied the role of chemo-attractant Proteins within mouse models of salmonella, b-cell lymphoma and multiple sclerosis. i have investigated genetic loci involved in female mouse infertility; and have investigated molecular Biomarkers important for the development of mouse embryonic Vascular formation. my ph.d. was obtained in animal biology with a special emphasis on Genetics, Endocrinology, and Biotechnology. as a post-doctoral fellow, i studied immune host response within the mouse model to a biosafety level 3 viral pathogen which is also an emerging tropical disease. i have a strong cross-disciplinary background that includes experience in molecular biology, Cell biology, Immunology, Virology, Vascular biology and in Veterinary Clinical work. i enjoy translational scientific Communication, mentoring and collaborating in rich scientific environments.

Past Experience

  • Post-doctoral Fellow Paris, France

    January 2013 --- October 2015

investigation of innate immune response in inbred mice resistant to rift valley fever Virus and in recombinant inbred mouse lines
