As a PhD researcher in bio-informatics I couple knowledge of genetics with mathematical and computational skills to analyze big data. I have a passion for digging into a subject and providing an efficient solution depending on state-of-the-art methodologies. With a background as engineer in applied physics, I possess of a strong analytical mind, which I combine with an eager to learn mindset. While I can enjoy working in a team and discussing interesting ideas with colleagues, I can also work independently and focussed on a specific part of the project until I find the the perfect solution.
