A pharmacist by training with experience in research and a passion for learning. I’m a motivated young professional seeking a full-time opportunity which will offer new challenges. My background within local and international student associations, various internships and professional institutions reflect my dynamic personality.

  • PhD researcher
    Since November 2013

    • Project entitled: Method Development for drug impurity profiling in achiral SFC

    • The project was made up of several phases: stationary phase characterization, dissimilar phase selection, the influence of modifier composition, the optimization of temperature and back-pressure by design of experiments (DoE) and a response surface approach, testing on pharmaceutical samples

    • Worked on other projects: chiral stationary phase screening; HPLC method development for drugs under research; method validation

    • Supervised a number of local Master thesis students, Erasmus thesis students and students undergoing their final-year internship from Erasmus Hogeschool

    • Assisted analytical chemistry bachelor and master student labs

    • Prepared manuscripts summarizing research undertaken

    • Presented research results at national and international conferences, both as poster and as oral presentations

    • Developed SFC methods for research drugs and their impurities

    • Developed a user-friendly Excel sheet which can be used for SFC method optimization

    • Worked on the application of the linear solvation energy relationship (LSER) model to pharmaceutical compounds in SFC
