Cell viability, target engagement and mechanistic studies for preclinical projects. Broad knowledge about combinatorial studies.

    Vascular biology. Research on neurovascular communication controlling central nervous system vascularization during embryo development. Both in vivo and in vitro approaches. Cell culture (2D and 3D) and primary cells isolation from tissue. Performance of in vitro angiogenesis assays, for identifying candidate proteins that alters vascularization process. Mouse handling and disection. Performance of cryosections, immunostainings and ISH techniques, for characterizing wild type and mutant vascularization phenotypes in mouse embryo's CNS. Confocal microscopy and digital image analysis.

    Immunology. Research on the role of interleukins IL17A and IL22 in patients with delayed hypersensitivity reactions to drugs (DHRDs). RT-qPCR for analyzing expression levels of IL17A and IL22 in blood samples from patients with DHRDs and healthy donors. PBMCs isolation and flow citometry for identifying lymphocyte subpopulations responsible for the pathogenesis of these diseases.
