I am a medical doctor and I am living in Brussels right now. I have graduated as a general physician from Iran in 2008 and then, I used to work as a research assistant in a medical research center in my country for 2 years. I used to conduct several cohort studies and randomized control trials and collect and manipulate the data for these studies. I moved to Belgium in 2011.
I used to work in Department of Medicine (Neurology) in Université libre de Bruxelles as a research fellow from 2012 till Feb 2016. I was actively involved in phenotyping and classification of patients with Epilepsy in the context of several multi-center studies in epilepsy genetics and pharmacogenetics as well as data analysis in epidemiological studies of epilepic paitents(large European Epilepsy Cohort).
In addition to my clinical knowledge as a general physician, I have experience in working with online database(e-CRF), data manipulation (SPSS, R environment, Python). I was also actively involved in conducting and managing of epidemiological studies and also writing medical papers and texts.
I can speak English fluently, have a good knowledge of Dutch (Level B1) and can speak French as beginner (Level A2).
