Summary

I have obtained my master’s degree in Tissue and Cell Biomedical Engineering at Politecnico of Milan.

As part of the master degree course I worked on my thesis titled 'Molecular interactions of DNA with transfectants: a study based on Infrared Spectroscopy and Dynamic Light Scattering. Biological characterization of trasfectants in different cellular lines for gene delivery.'

This involved working with different cell lines and used different techniques to analyze the efficiency of transfection with cationic vectors, such as cell viability (ALAMAR), quantification of proteins (BCA), test ELISA and Luciferase. I have been involved in the characterization of new liposomes synthesized for transfection. This required DLS (Dynamic Light scattering) and FT-IR coupled with a microscope.

During my Master studies I have followed many courses about this field and advanced biotechnology. I have been working in the laboratory BioCell at Politecnico di Milano so I have familiarity with the GLP and techniques used for DNA extraction and analyses.

In addition as part of my bachelor’s degree course I completed my thesis titled: 'Evaluation and identification of the sarcoma in connective tissues with DWI and DCE-MRI techniques' at the National Cancer Institute of Milan.

I am a conscientious person who works hard and pays attention to detail. I'm flexible, quick to pick up new skills and eager to learn from others. I also have lots of ideas and enthusiasm. I desire to progress within this working environment.
