    Market Development Manager in a Oncology Diagnostic Company.

    My functions and responsabilities are:

    -Jointly develop and implement the strategy to launch the company’s technology in the Spanish & Portuguese markets for patient use.

    -Call on Medical Oncologists and other stakeholders in large hospitals to understand clinical needs and introduce the different oncology tests by working with all stakeholders involved in the order and sample workflow process.

    -Identify, target, manage and educate accounts in the territory including hospitals, oncologist, pathologists, and lab directors on the company’s liquid biopsy offerings.

    -Drive new oncology testing business, maintaining customer relatioships and exceeding sales targets.

    -KOL management in the different cancer areas.

    -Develop relationship with scientific and medical societies such as the SEOM in Spain and Portugal as well as with Patient Advocacy groups.

    -Prioritize and attend the most important Medical Oncology congresses and scientific meetings.

    -Identify key physicians, healthcare providers and organizations to design and implement validation and marketing studies to support the successful introduction of the company’s test offerings in Spain.

    -Establish the pathways for the financing of the tests within the Spanish healthcare systems to assure financial resources within the hospital budgets and/or alternative funding (private insurance companies, patient advocacy groups, patient out-of-pocket payments, etc.).

    -Support locally the Company's global CDx team in projects involving  collaborations with pharmaceutical companies.
