Unlocked the value of a patent portfolio covering diagnostics and treatments to a newly discovered virus through: • out-licensing diagnostics rights, leading to the launch of several FDA-approved and CE marked in vitro diagnostics, and the development of a robust market for the testing of infections by the virus, with significant fee and royalty revenues • setting up and managing a number of partnerships with academia and pharma to develop vaccines and prophylactic antibodies to the virus

Drove merger of Viroclinics BV and Coronovative BV to found Viroclinics Biosciences BV and broaden service offering across the drug development value chain, enabling cross selling of preclinical and clinical development stage services to support pharmaceutical and vaccine development. This led to accelerated growth of revenues and net earnings.
