These are the highlights of my experiences during my studies at the university of Antwerp (UA): - Internship at a pharmacy - Master's thesis, University of Graz, Austria: evaluation of the operating procedures of chinese herbs by Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC). This thesis was written while on an exchange program (Erasmus). - Lab experiences at UA: Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy, Microbiology, Galenic which deals with pharmaceutical formulations As such, I am looking to expand my experiences and knowledge with a job in Life Sciences. I am especially interested in these topics: - Applications and implementation of quantitative and qualitative analysis for investigation of (quality of) products - The progression of pharmaceutics during clinical trials.
Since June 2014
Quality control: from the raw materials to the final product by quantitative research (spectrophotometry, HPLC, polarimetry). The parameters should be in chosen intervals to guarantee a robust quality. Results of the analysis are registered. The quality of the rincing solution used for cleaning the glass bottles is also checked. Calibrations and assurance of analytical instruments are periodically done.
September 2012 --- March 2013
