I have completed my Masters in Pharmaceutical Science at Northeastern University,Boston.I have an undergraduate degree in Biotechnology Engineering.As Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Science are interlinked in many ways, I hope to work in a Biopharmaceutical Company in the upstream/downstream processing department. Having worked with cell cultures (CHO Cells), Microbial Fermentation Technology and Protein Purification (Tangential Flow Filtration & Chromatography) I want to be a part of the Drug Development Process in a Biopharmaceutical Company. I wish to be involved in this journey to create a more scientifically advanced tomorrow.
Since January 2017
• Set up and performed laboratory experiments including RNA Isolation from exosomes and its quantification using a NanoQuant Plate, thawing and extraction of stem cells from Umbilical Cord tissues. • Performed the 2D expansion of Mesenchymal Stem Cells extracted from the Umbilical Cord Tissue to create a working cell bank for extracellular vesicle production. • Isolated Extracellular Vesicles from Biological samples using Size Exclusion Chromatography and measured their concentration using the Nanoparticle Tracker Analysis (NTA).

- Compiled a literature survey on the synthesis of enantiopure drugs using enzymes. - Provided inputs on how to develop single-enantiomer drugs and proposed a change in order to purify a single enantiopure. - Studied the clinical advantages of the enantiopure drugs over its racemic forms.
January 2014 --- May 2014
- Studied the advantages of anaerobic process over aerobic process in an effluent plant. - Set up a pilot plant and conducted tests to find out the parameters affecting the process. - Proposed a plan to minimize chemical oxygen demand by altering the hydraulic retention time and introduced different microorganisms to achieve the desired COD Reduction.

Biozeen is involved in biopharmaceutical production and process flow. - One month training in animal cell culture and handling techniques. - Gained knowledge in aseptic handling techniques in Animal Cell Culture. - Gained practical skills to subculture animal cells and quantify cell growth. - Applied the principles of sterile filtration for media preparation and to optimize the cell growth parameters. - Developed a protocol for the scale up of adherent cells in a 5L Bioreactor. - Studied the basics of Regulatory Affairs in biopharmaceutical industries.
