i graduated with a bsc. Biomedical Science, and a bsc. medical Biotechnology, from the institute of technology sligo. while attending to my undergraduate coursework there, my course covered many topics and i was particularly drawn to upstream and Downstream processing, Protein Purification, Research and development, protein Characterization, Formulation and pre-Formulation studies, biopharmaceutical analytical Testing such as HPLC, Gel Electrophoresis; process Validation, legislation and Quality Auditing (emea and FDA). as well as filled the position of class President. i know that my success in my educational work, as well as my extracurricular activities was based wholly on my strengths as both a Leader and team player; and i hope to apply both of these along with my work ethic, Education in Biotechnology, and enthusiasm towards a long and fruitful Career in the bio-Pharmaceutical Industry. i have put my undergraduate degree into practice in a variety of ways, most effectively as an Intern environmental Scientist at the leitrim county council water Treatment plant. a recommendation for an upgrade aeration system was made for the drumshambo wastewater Treatment plant based on the results from my study to determine the need for additional oxygenation requirement. furthermore, my Research and development skills was applied during my final year Research on antimicrobial properties of titanium nanoparticle solutions. this involved Testing various titanium Nanoparticles as an antimicrobial property for Bacteria and fungus. i am curious ,open minded, and a keen observer with the ability to think critically, i also have excellent Communication Skills which i have developed from Presentations,Public Speaking during eu conferences and writing of college technical Laboratory reports.though i am a recent graduate, i am currently pursing opportunities to offer my wealth of talents and Education. i can be reached either through this profile or by phone at +353834431783.
