    at volda University college i had responsibility for revisions of study plans and course descriptions, and Quality Assurance of this. i reported directly to the Director of academic and Student affairs. i was also Secretary for the strategic study committee. one of my first key challenges at volda University college was to implement a new Software for handling revisions of study and course descriptions. the Software was also essential for the mirroring of data to the school's students and potential applicants. with my academic toolbox, i quickly saw in practice how challenging and demanding implementation of (new) technology can be in a complex organization in the public sector. this, along with the Project Management experience, has given me valuable insight into solving these kinds of Software related it implementations.

    felles studieadministrativt tjenestesenter (fsat) is a subsidiary of the norwegian ministry of education and Research. after the merger of three units, this new organisation seeks to offer it services enabling a more efficient, future-oriented and de-bureaucratised Higher Education sector in norway. the it services cover areas such as admission, Student administration and Research information. as a board member, representing the students, i had great influence on the challenging process of developing this new organisation. my education within fields such as Strategy, it and Change Management was highly appliable.
