masters of science (MSc) in environmental sanitation completed in july 2017 at ghent University (belgium). master thesis focused on the comparison of different anode materials for sulfide oxidation and sulfur recovery from wastewater using electrochemical systems, developed at cmet, ghent.
worked in Research and consultancy projects of Environmental Engineering, concerning the evaluation of surface water quality, new technologies for water and wastewater Treatment and municipal solid waste and civil construction waste management.
currently works in a Research project to study the feasibility of catalytic oxidation of waste gases for the reuse of carbon dioxide, under development at the department of green Chemistry and technology in cooperation with the department of Biotechnology, at ghent University.

    study of the catalytic oxidation of waste gases along with the recovery and reuse of carbon dioxide. the Research project is part of the micro-ecological life support system alternative (melissa) initiative sponsored by the european space agency (esa), aiming the complete recovery of carbon, inorganic nutrients and water from liquid and gas streams to allow long-term space missions in a regenerative life support system.
    the Research takes place at the department of green Chemistry and technology of ghent University, in cooperation with the department of Biotechnology.

Research Assistant in a project to study the biodegradability and disposal of carcasses and poultry litter through the use of an aerobic bioreactor. the aim of the project was to ensure biosafety and minimization of environmental damage, as well as evaluate the use of the organic compost generated as a fertilizer in Agriculture.
