Summary

Honorary Senior Research Fellow at Queen Mary University of London and Research Associate at the Gillberg Neuropsychiatry Centre, University of Gothenburg (Sweden) studying the role of vitamin D in the ESSENCE syndromes, i.e. autism, ADHD and schizophrenia. One of a limited number of people researching this area internationally. Over the past 10 years, has built up extensive research project management expertise; this includes recruiting the research team, sourcing research participants and managing the data capture and analysis process. As a clinical psychology assistant with Coral Psychology Ltd, work has focused on children and young adults that have neurodevelopmental disorders and/or acquired brain injury (ABI). Provided clients with cognitive rehabilitation and training, counselling approaches and positive behavioural support. Now undertaking research in the areas of vitamin D and autism, ADHD and epilepsy.
