The company develops in vitro models and assays to demonstrate the efficacy and activity of drugs, skin care and cosmetic ingredients/finished products Main achievements: Development of a key technology for the reconstruction of human skin tissues from epidermal cells, as a tool for in vitro testing of topically applied products, with multiple applications for the evaluation of biological activity, dermal toxicity and trans-epidermal passage Development of a long-term vision and strategy Development of the company portfolio of models and tests/methods within the different business lines, i.e. tissue manufacturing/sales, biological testing, GLP-compliant in vitro toxicology testing, global gene expression analysis (TaqMan, DNA Chips, NGS) and skin absorption profiling.
