i am a qualified Finance director with experience in several sectors and countries, leading teams (Finance, Logistics and Sales) and developing strategies to facilitate or consolidate demanding growth plans. with savvy technological expertise, i fully understand the impact of it infrastructures in organizations as i had the opportunity to successfully lead a few implementations (e.g. SAP and oracle). i am experienced in supervising and coordinating the incorporation of entities and in reviewing bylaws Documentation for countries around the world (e.g. canada, australia, germany). to this i add the experience and the full understanding of the role of Managing Director in 4 different continents. as co-Leader and Supervisor of transfer price policies implementations in emea, latam and asiapac i own the full comprehension and impact that they have globally, regionally and locally.

  • Director International Finance

    Since February 2012
    appointed as Interim Country Manager iberia from 1st june 2015 to 31st december 2015 and as international Managing Director (as of 1st july 2015), i lead a team of 8 members and coordinate 16 international entities; supervising the company’s Accounting, payroll, international tax and local/internal/sox Compliance; encompassing controllership, business Operations, decision support, banking, legal and tax relationship, financial Planning, Analysis and revenue reporting within an international group with over 280 employees represented in 12 different countries. main achievements: - lead a few Due Diligence regarding potential/concrete acquisitions; - perform several market viability studies (e.g. brazil, china, kazakhstan and scandinavia); - design and strategize the international tax structure (e.g. creation of swiss principal); - manage the incorporation of several entities (e.g. germany, australia and colombia); - create, develop and improve internal controls and processes (e.g. revenue recognition, Procurement and payroll) in accordance with sox requirements; - support the development of a Logistics platform (e.g. creation of brand new Logistics platform in munich): - steering committee Member of oracle international implementation; - implement hedging strategies with banking partners (e.g. development of hedging contracts usd/eur that in fy15 saved the company 8mio usd); - responsible for the contact and Negotiation of mixed corporate tax for the swiss principal (e.g. from the default corporate tax of 19% managed to drop it to 11.5%); - recruit and train the international Finance group. - successful iberian Restructuring under the foreseen costs (Restructuring costs 18% below planned); - significant revenue increase in iberian during the managing period (+214% vs. last year) - assignment of public tenders and Clinical studies in spain (e.g. madrid autonomous community, catalonia, galicia, canary islands). - definition of iberian targets and their prioritization.     as Member of the Corporate Finance team, participated on the financial Planning, Analysis, reporting and consolidation of emea region on both chgaap and usgaap dimensions; led the transfer Pricing policies review and adjustment for both commissionaires and toller within western europe sub-region; main achievements: - reviewed and renegotiated a few transfer Pricing policies (e.g. negotiated successfully a transfer price ruling with the italian tax authorities for 3% ebit over revenue ratio for a 3-year period); - participated on tax exemption extension Negotiation with swiss authorities for the domestic toller (e.g. achieved a prorogation for 10 years of corporate tax exemption in return of a structural investment); - coordinated the Negotiation of greek public Hospitals debt payment settlement; - led special project in brazil for the creation and implementation of internal controls with main focus on warehousing, transport and Customer Service.
