Focusing on Root Cause analysis and Corrective action with suppliers with a Shipping Performance below objectives. Maintaining contact with other Purchasing teams (Manufacturing facilities) in Europe and the US to resolve supplier issues that require purchasing intervention. Responsible for communication between suppliers and other Caterpillar divisions and offer support if needed related to pricing, quality, payment and delivery issues. Assisting / leading supplier visits.
