(Doctoral proposal) Contents:We are conducting a long-time prospective cohort study in order to explore the incidence density and mortality of cardio-metabolic abnormalities in naturalistic patients with severe mental illness and evaluate moderator and mediator variables, taking advantage of our ongoing monitoring of CHD risk factors and DNA bank collection in SMI patients since 2004 in our center. We hope the estimated risk model would guide primary and secondary care for this important and risk population with severe mental illness.
