He has been jury member of the Bizidee Flemish business plan contest for 3 years. During university studies, he decided to start a medical-technical consultancy company together with his colleague PhD student, Frederik Gelaude. Through Clijmans & Gelaude BVBA they successfully provided specialized consultancy for research and development of products supporting surgery and diagnosis. In October 2008, together again, they started Mobelife NV, active in the field of custom orthopedics. Mobelife’s highly specialized team developed patient-specific bone and joint implant solutions, individually evaluated and precisely documented. Early 2015, Mobelife was fully acquired by original investor Materialise. For another year, Tim combined his position as CEO of Mobelife with the responsibility as Director Global Clinical Direct sales at Materialise. He was member of several internal and external Boards.
