    This venture focuses on a key aspect of all change: learning. We develop a framework allowing people to match their talents to the business needs of companies. Together with my three partners, we aim to convert an innovative learner-centric vision to a readily usable tool for personal and team change.

Past Experience

  • Change Director “Learner-Centricity”
    January 2012 --- June 2014
    With Alcatel-Lucent leadership we identified the need for a new approach to learning adapted to the fast pace of business change. I elaborated the learner-centric vision. With inputs of the learning and technical experts we embodied that vision in the ‘My PLE’ tool. Within 3 years, the project accounted for a direct investment of >5M€/year. I led the company-wide change impacting our +500 learning experts, directly managing an international team of onshore and offshore experts. Within one year of rollout we reached +20.000 employees and introduced the concept in our channel partner program.

  • Director Alcatel-Lucent University
    December 2006 --- December 2011
    I led a global transformation project for Alcatel-Lucent University; developing a new organizational model for its over +500 employees distributed over more than 20 locations. We achieved a better business fit of for-profit and employee learning activities enabling substantial cost savings. The increased credibility of the learning function allowed us to be trusted with a major new innovative approach to learning.

  • Senior HR Business Partner
    September 2005 --- November 2006
    Completing a full cycle of the HR ‘four seasons’ I implemented the conclusions of the Organization and People Review of this nascent business division. I recruited over 50 experienced professionals.

  • VP Product Marketing
    December 2001 --- September 2005
    We pioneered an approach of consultative marketing. As broadband access market leader, we promoted best practices from around the world to help operators find the most profitable rollout strategy. This also led to the global adoption of use of DSL for video, music, gaming delivery. In the process, I translated the new requirements with a technical team towards adoption of native IP networking in broadband access.

  • Deputy Chief Engineer Broadband Access
    October 1997 --- December 2001
    I led the international expansion of the broadband access engineering team from less than 200 to over 600 engineers (adding 4 R&D sites across the world). My responsibility included co-ordination between sites and the start-up of new projects in constant co-operation with PLM. During a 2-year stint in Madrid, I was responsible for integrating narrowband and broadband technologies based on VoIP technology.

  • Sales Support Specialist
    February 1994 --- September 1997
    As a key contributor to a multi-disciplinary team, I elaborated and defended offers for ADSL and APON technology around the world (USA, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mexico). In this phase I contributed to the evolution of broadband access positioning towards generalized Internet access.

  • Patent Engineer
    September 1991 --- February 1994
    I drafted and defended patent applications towards the European Patent Office. My main expertise was in video and broadband networking.
