GENERAL CONTEXT: PROJECT SUPPORT: QUALIFICATION / VALIDATION OF TEMPERATE STORAGE FACILITIES, IN ORDER TO STORE PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCTS IN TRANSIT, AT BALE - MULHOUSE AIRPORT RESPONSIBILITIES: Bibliographical research on standards (Good practice standard distribution and characterization of climatic chambers FDX 15-140) Writing OQ and PQ protocols and tests interpretation; Temperature cartography of the chambers loaded and unloaded Test results interpretation (temperature average, stability and homogeneity) Providing for transitional events (doors, HVAC, moving packages) Manage deadlines and set priorities

  • Teacher of Life science Brussels, Belgium
    April 2013 --- September 2014

  • Biotechnology R&D engineer Brussels, Belgium
    February 2012 --- September 2012
GENERAL CONTEXT: STUDY OF GENES ENCODING THE SYNTHESIS OF A NON-RIBOSOMAL PEPTIDE SYNTHETASE (NRPS) IN STAPHYLOCOCCUS SP. PROJECT’S DESCRIPTION: PEPTIDES DERIVED FROM THE NRPS (NON-RIBOSOMAL SYNTHESIS PATHWAY IN BACTERIA) HAVE A WIDE VARIETY OF STRUCTURES AND FUNCTIONS AND HAVE IMPORTANT BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITIES, USABLE IN MEDICINE AND PHARMACY (ANTIBACTERIAL (PENICILLIN), ANTIVIRAL, ANTIFUNGAL, SIDEROPHORE, IMMUNOSUPPRESSANT, ANTICANCER AND SURFACTANTS) RESPONSIBILITIES: Show the existence of NRPS genes in a strain of Staphylococcus epidermidis (opportunistic bacterium responsible for nosocomial infections) and the impact of inactivation of this gene on the virulence of the bacterium. Test the resistance of bacteria to antibiotics Genetic Manipulations (Extract DNA and RNA, amplify and purify PCR, cloning DNA fragments genetically, transform bacterial cells by electroporation) Sequencing and studying gene expression, quantifying biofilm formation and bioinformatics analyses.

  • Quality Control & Deviation engineer Andenne, Belgium
    July 2011 --- September 2011
GENERAL CONTEXT: OUR CHALLENGE WAS TO MANUFACTURE FOOD WHICH HELPS REDUCE THE RATE OF ANIMALS’ GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS IN ORDER TO MAKE OUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE GLOBAL EFFORT TO PRESERVE THE ENVIRONMENT. RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitoring parameters of milling, granulation and extrusion compound feed and evaluation of product quality for various animal species (quality control and deviation management). Quality control (hardness, durability, water activity) deviation handling Researching and developing cow’s food to reduce the rate of greenhouse gas emissions (methane). Assist the project management in animal nutrition, analyse and compare Dumoulin foods to conventional animal foods (Final phase)
