    Since January 2016
    since october 2015, i'm also the ecsite Project Manager of a new eu-funded project, nano2all, an initiative to help establish the rri Policy and governance on nanotechnologies. Since October 2015, I'm also the Ecsite project manager of a new EU-funded project, NANO2ALL, an initiative to help establish the RRI policy and governance on nanotechnologies.

    i’m responsible for the coordination and logistical Planning of ecsite’s annual conference, the most prominent meeting of science engagement professionals in europe. i work closely with the communications manager in developing and delivering ecsite’s communications offer. this includes ecsite’ website, ecsite’s monthly digital magazine – spokes, Social Media, corporate Publications like annual reports and brochures, materials for the ecsite annual conference, contributions to the dissemination actions of the european projects, etc.

    October 2010 --- February 2015
    as a doctoral Researcher i continued my work on understanding the causes leading to parkinson’s disease. i developed Analytical Skills and learned to work independently. i managed my own projects and communicated the outcome in team meetings and international conferences. i designed and optimised my own protocols and trained new students.

    as a Researcher at janssen pharmaceutica i generated and optimised a new monoclonal antibody. this tool proved to be crucial to the screening of prospective drugs for parkinson’s disease.

    September 2008 --- August 2009
    as an Intern at janssen i was exposed to the life cycle of Drug Development. i was involved in pre-Clinical research and my task was to develop a cellular assay for the screening of candidate inhibitors of lrrk2 function, the main genetic factor leading to parkinson’s disease.
