I have gathered extensive experience in clinical, translational and basic research, hereby combining both academic and industrial backgrounds. After several years of clinical trial follow-up (incl initiation, monitoring, accountability, ...), I was able to conduct PhD studies, adding to my experience in the preclinical domain of cancer research, not only by performing lab-based bench work, but also by writing and publishing scientific reports (research articles and reviews), including scientific illustration design.

In this complex field, I have always aimed at maintaining a bird's eye view on the different developments, both in technology advancements and biological discoveries, in order to consider pitfalls and trends in the development of tailored therapeutic approaches.
